Virginia Rush Welcomes Liam Deady

Virginia Rush is pleased to announce Liam Deady as the newest addition to our club. He will be the Program Manager for our Advanced and School of Excellence programs. Liam recently graduated from Northeastern University in Boston, MA, with a Master’s degree in Sports Leadership. He received his undergraduate degree in International Studies with a minor in Political Science from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Liam played club soccer for the Monarchs his freshman and sophomore year. Liam attended Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA during his freshman year. He played soccer for the Cobras during the 2010 season. Recently, Liam played for the VB City FC reserve team in 2015 and has coached with several youth organizations in the Hampton Roads.
Liam comes to us from East Carolina University’s Pirate Club, which is the premier fundraising arm for ECU athletics. As their Development Intern, he collected season ticket applications and dues for Pirate Club members, assisted with hospitality managers for various events; and assisted alumni with their questions or concerns. He brings a wealth of soccer knowledge in the Hampton Roads area, and we are eager to have him as part of our team.
