ARAMARK-EARN MONEY FOR YOUR SOCCER FEES & TRAVEL EXPENSES

Rush Families – Looking for a fun way to earn money for your soccer fees and travel expenses? How about joining other Rush parents working concerts at the Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater this summer or events at Old Dominion University throughout the year? Rush Soccer has a long-standing agreement with the Amphitheater and ODU to work concessions at various events as a fundraiser to help offset your soccer expenses. Imagine getting paid to attend a concert or college sporting event. Imagine not having to come out of pocket for club fees, team fees, or travel expenses. Imagine building lasting friendships with other Rush parents. Becoming a member of the Rush fundraising crew is free. Even players 16 years old and older can work to earn money. You choose when, where and how much you want to work.

Here is what some of the parents participating in the program say about their experience.

“Working Aramark events has helped offset the cost of two kids playing soccer a great deal. This has allowed my kids to experience many more opportunities. Plus the parents are super awesome resources and are fun to work with.” – Shannon U18G

“A great opportunity to help cover the cost of team fees and club dues plus build relationships with other parents in the club. I am one of six families on our team who work Aramark events. My 16-year old daughter enjoys the cash tips for gas money while earning money towards her fees. It is a great way to offset costs especially if you have more than one child in the club.” – Mindy U17G

“It’s a great opportunity to meet Rush parents from other teams and build long-lasting relationships. Working Aramark events have enabled me to cover all my Rush fees the last 2-years without having to come out of pocket.“ – Malin U19

“I was originally not interested in working Aramark, I didn’t need another thing on my ‘to do’ list but a friend told me that she actually has a lot of fun doing it, so I figured I’d give it a try. She was right! Yes, I’m working, but pouring drinks with other soccer parents has been fun! I’ve met lots of new people, heard some great concerts, and it covered more than just our team fees—what’s not to love?” – Tara U13B

“I am now on my second child coming up through the Rush program and have worked Aramark/Legends events for nearly 6-years now. In all of my years with Rush, I have not had to pay any club, team, or travel fees out of pocket thanks to the opportunities provided by Aramark/Legends. You can work as much or as little as you want, you get to meet lots of new people, all money earned is tax-free, and I have a great time doing it.” John U13B

“Working Aramark events has been a great way for me to earn spending money. Unlike other jobs for 16-year olds, I am able to pick and choose when I want to work so it doesn’t interfere with my practice or game schedule or school. I love going home with cash in my pocket and not having to pay taxes on what I earn. It’s a lot of fun, I get to see some amazing shows and events for free, and they feed me for free. What else could you ask for.” – Camden U19B
