Advanced General Information
The Virginia Rush Advanced program entry level is U9 and is offered through U18. The Advanced program is offered to older players who seek a higher level of play. Teams are formed through an open tryout process held in June of each year. Teams are formed in June and remain together for one year (two seasons).

 The primary focus within the Advanced league is age appropriate training. The Advanced league groups children according to the US Youth Soccer (USYS) age group structure. Teams U9-U12 participate in "small-sided" games which enables the players to have more active participation and time on the ball. All players that participate in training/practices will play at least 50% of each game.

 *The Advanced program currently only operates on the Southside and is not yet in place on the Peninsula.*

Fall 2011 - Spring 2012 Advanced Age Groups

Advanced Fee
The Advanced program is a one year commitment. The fee for the fall and spring seasons is $200. Players registering in the fall do not have to register again in the spring, the $200 fee covers both seasons. Players registering for the spring season will pay $105 to cover the spring season fee. The Advanced uniform fee is not included in the registration fee. Advanced Refund Policy
The Advanced Program fee is a yearly fee covering both the fall and spring seasons. Players registering for the fall pay the yearly fee. Players registering in the fall that do not participate in the spring season will receive a refund in the amount of $105 for the spring season. Players not placed on teams will receive a full refund. Players dropping out after the team placement in the fall will incur an administrative fee of $20.00 deducted from the refund. Fall refund requests must be received prior to the first game date. Fall refund requests will be processed after the first game date. Refunds for the spring portion of the yearly fee must be requested by February 1st.  All refunds for players registering for the spring season only must be requested prior to the first game date. Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable).  Deadline to submit a refund request for players who signed up in fall 2012 and are not playing in spring 2013 is February 1, 2013. Refunds requested after February 1, 2013 will not be accepted.

How to Register
Virginia Rush offers four ways to register:

1. The preferred online registration. Payment options include mail-in check or online credit card (Visa or MasterCard). 
2. Onsite registration is held semi annually at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex (Rush Office). Information on   registration weekends will be posted on the Virginia Rush website prior to registration dates.

4. Walk-in registration can be completed at the Rush office located at 2181 Landstown Rd., Virginia Beach, VA 23456 (Monday - Friday).

Advanced Game Location
