Virginia Rush Adds Two to Coaching Staff
Virginia Beach, VA (May 2, 2014) – Virginia Rush brings on two new coaches to join the staff. Roland “Pato” Vargas Aguilera and Veronica Godbolt-Garza join Virginia Rush this year to enhance the coaching staff.
Pato has been working with the boys’ side this past year with team and DOC training. Pato, a native of Bolivia, has played professional soccer in his home country, the United States in the MLS and in Thailand’s Premier League. "Pato is probably the most decorated Pro currently in this area. We are thrilled with the addition of him to our Staff and the great value he will bring to working with our Boy's, " said Brian Cvilikas (BC) Director of Coaching.
Veronica has been working with the girls’ side this past year with team training and coaching games in the VSL, VAPL and ECNL. Veronica grew up in Texas playing for Lonestars Soccer Club in Austin and South Texas ODP. She went on to play collegiately at Louisiana State University (LSU) in the SEC. “Veronica is a wonderful addition to the club. She has played at the highest level in college soccer and will bring a wealth of knowledge to the girls in the club”, said Matt Mittelstaedt, Director of Coaching.
Please help Virginia Rush welcome Pato and Veronica to the family!
