|PETER CROSSLEY||10 years Coaching, 5 years Rush. E License. Played the game since I was a Mighty Mite! English born, played as high as semi-pro there.
Began coaching to build a closer relationship with my step-daughter, who went on to play travel soccer for Beach FC. When my sons were old enough to begin learning the game, I looked into Rush Rec Soccer and after seeing how different the emphasis of player development is with Virginia Rush as opposed to elsewhere in Virginia Beach, I was more than sold. Now both my boys play in the School of Excellence where I was also given the opportunity to coach.
My youngest son has played with the VSLI team at U10.
The difference in how my first coaching experience was to how my boys have progressed now is enormous. I can’t thank the team of coaches and staff enough for what they do. I love working with the players of School of Excellence and seeing them progress at every session. Always ready to greet me with a handshake or a high 5. The environment is electric.
